ABOUT FIKRAH GALLERY

Throughout history, Islamic principles and designs have found expression in a distinctive set of concepts conveyed through monuments and artworks within the Islamic world. This collection of artworks seeks to initiate a cross-disciplinary dialogue, bridging creative and non-creative realms, to explore how these Islamic principles can be universally exemplified through creative processes and methodologies. The objective is to encompass a wide range of possibilities for blending Islamic principles with contemporary dimensions, thereby giving rise to a third dimension of contemporary Islamic Art that is accessible to all.
