ABOUT THE ARTIST
I’m Osheen, an architect turned artist from Cochin, Kerala. My artistic journey has evolved from painting moody landscapes on canvas to creating digital portraits of women, a transformation that has been both long and deeply personal. Much of my work emerges from fleeting escapes from reality, capturing quiet moments of joy in life’s simplest details. Many of my paintings take the form of self-portraits, reflecting my inner world and the gentle happiness I find in solitude. Through serene and contemplative imagery, my art celebrates the essence of feminism, embracing themes of self-care, cultural richness, strength, solitude, and mindful living. Each piece is a reminder that feminism is about honoring the beauty and value in every facet of women’s lives, from the intimate and personal to the expansive and profound.
